Bldr Farouk Yarma Adamu is a trailblazing builder, strategic sports administrator, and dedicated public servant whose career expertly bridges construction management and transformative sports governance. As the visionary founder and president of FC Yarmalight since 2008, he has been a powerhouse in grassroots football development, producing talents who have excelled in the Nigerian Premier League and on international stages.
His pioneering leadership as the inaugural Executive Chairman of the Gombe State Sports Commission (2012–2015) and as Honorable Commissioner for Youth Empowerment in Gombe State (2016–2019) underscores his unwavering dedication to shaping Nigeria’s youth and sports ecosystem. With a strong foundation in construction, he played a pivotal role in the development of the Pantami International Stadium, elevating sports infrastructure in Gombe State.
Currently, he serves as the Senior Legislative Aide (Sport) to the Speaker of the Nigerian House of Representatives, driving national sports policies and legislative frameworks.
